In this exercise you hold the baby in support “parallel” Your bent knee creates extra support. You continue to hold the baby under the armpit, and with your free hand you throw the toy forward. After the throw of the toy, you change the support for “armpit” and move the baby to your right. Our task in this exercise is to catch the baby’s attention to the toy and to form the goal which the baby will try to reach and to activate the work of his arms and legs.
This exercise is done in a ” scoop” support. Here you roll your baby from your stomach into a tilted position onto his/her back. Your lower hand, which supports your baby by the thigh, creates an extra movement pushing your baby’s hips forward and backward. Your task is to make the movement as wide as possible, thereby creating an extra fluid massage for your baby.
With the “snake forward – straight return” support, you rock your baby forward slightly, while keeping him/her on his/her belly, then you go backward.
